Hello, I am new here to the forum and I have been digging around a lot recently at some posts that catch me eye the most. Well, the ones that I have found myself drawn to and spending an hour searching on are the "Post A Coin" forums. After some quick searching I noticed there weren't many on this section of the forum so I've decided to try to start one for all of us German State/Austrian State/Early Hungarian... coin lovers! I would absolutely love if this post took off like a rocket, but understand if it's a little too specific. However, as you can tell, I'm not looking for specifically Gemran state coins to be posted. Just anything of the like. Perhaps that will help get the ball rolling. So, I will take the liberty to start it off with a few of my recent purchases! Without further adieu, let's get this post going!: 1693 Austrian State 6 Kreuzer - Karl II von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn: 1656 German State Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel 2 Mariengroschen: 1819 German State Frankfurt Heller: 1822 German State Frankfurt Pfennig: 1751 German State Wurzburg Schilling (Rare Variety): Edited by tom007 09/22/2015 1:15 pm

German States? One of my favorite areas to collect ! I like *everything* from pfennigs to thalers.. but especially the larger silver pieces with fantastic detail. Below are a few 20th Century favorites, with the standard shared reverse. Thanks for starting this thread!
