my great-grandmother got shiny new silver dollars for each of her three sons; I own two of them now. my grandfather, born dec 8, 1927 gave me an MS-60 1927 Peace dollar. Why couldnt he wait another month to be born!?
oh, and the other one is an AU58 1925

Well if he had waited another month and been a ten month baby, odds would have been fairly good that grandfather may not have survived, and a pretty good chance that great-grandmother would not have survived to give him his silver dollar. Count your blessings.

Well, imagine, if you will, if he'd been born a month later and then you were born a month later and then the Bush Coin relegated that coin into obsolescence a month sooner. Or that butterfly fluttered by a month earlier by your grampy and all hell broke loose back then and a hurricane finally developed today and washed all your coins away?

Stuff like that !!
