One of my greatest coin photography challenges is BU Lincoln cents. This coin has zero trace of brown in it. It's a kind of brassy color that reeks havoc with light to the camera. The reverse angled shot is a pretty good indication of the color. Let me know what you think:
Super nice looking coin BadThad, I love the bright gold/red color. From these pics I don't see alot of hits on this coin, one on the jawline and a small hit between the ear and jaw on the obverse. The reverse in the first pic appears to have a hit at the top of the N in cent, but in the second rev pic it looks more like a clash mark. I would grade this coin a MS-65 RD, if that is a hit on the reverse I might have to go 64 since it is very apparent. A real beauty !
By the way, those are some nice pics of shiny red copper !
