Got this ratty Star Note today .. looks to be from a 500k Run but too worn to keep and I'm at the point now where I only save 320K Runs or less so it'll be seeing the Tip Jar at the Brewery tomorrow night :-)

For me it is a keeper for a $1 or $2, but a spender if it were anything else.  |

In uncirculated condition it has a value already of $10 in the book but these are recent so there will be a lot available right now. Circulated examples some people collect anyway especially being a $1. Although it adds nothing normally such as selling to a dealer, the 666 and 69 both being in the note serial make it more of a keeper to some types of people and is a +. |

Not sure if I ever posted this one from 1988 but I just found it today while looking through an envelope full of about a hundred or so Star Notes I'd saved

@Skippy Topaz Nice Find, $5.50 circulated. $20 uncirculated 1988 San Francisco (L). SteveinTampa had one back on page 103 I believe also from 1988 but from Atlanta (F) $225 circulated $800 uncirculated.... just goes to show how knowledge about which ones are valuable might lead you to some interesting finds as the seller did not know what he had.
