There was a small local coin/stamp show today so I stopped in. There were maybe 10 dealers nothing really jaw dropping. The standard slabbed items, some junk silver, a couple of books of currency not bad stuff, but nothing amazing. I did walk by the one table and it was pretty busy so I kind of glanced over the shoulders of the other people and this guy just jumped out of the case at me. I probably spent to much on it, but I got a smoking deal on a Half Dime so it all evens out. Anyways here are the pictures.

Pictures don't do it justice unfortunately. It's definitely the nicest Indian head I have and seeing them in that condition makes me want to put a full set together.

Great coin.
Any time a coin jumps out at me like that and is remotely in budget, I buy it.
I have never had buyer's remorse yet using that strategy.

Hate to be a stick in the mud, but is that a scratch running horizontal across Indians cheek or a scratch on 2x2. ? a real beauty , reverse is impeccable .

That scratch is on the 2x2. The only negative is that hit by the A in states. I wish I could get a better picture of the toning going on with it though. The obverse is almost golden fading into orange and red. The reverse is red, purple, and blue. I may send it in for grading and add trueview to it hoping they can capture it's true coloring.

Slightly weak strike, but could make 64BN. Very nice.

I am always on the hunt for bargains at coin shows. That includes U.S. coins as well. The condition would have attracted me, and would have jumped on it if the price was right.
Any 19th or early 20th century World bronze or copper coin in that sort of condition would have attracted me, to at least investigate it.

If it hit 64 I would make out ok. 63 I would be about even after grading and shipping costs were added. 62 or below and I'd be underwater. I'm not in the hobby to make money, but I don't like losing it either. I did just send out a lot of notes for grading. So this one will have to wait a minute, or I may be able to toss it in with a dealer friends upcoming submission he's working on.
