If you are CRH it will most likely be very dismal.

Cool thank you for the price guide! Pacificoin I don't CRH for them specifically. I just find them while searching for other coins and just seeing if I should hold onto them or throw them back.

Nor mine Okie it is in my very non humble opinion a total waste of valuable time. As you get older that time becomes even more valuable.

roll hunting is time consuming, but if you have the time, and can afford to do it, you can find some neat stuff sometimes!

But when you are younger, it is a fun way to get into the hobby... Jack try not to be so pessimistic here with the coin roll hunting threads - remember that CCF has a lot of young numismatists.

Hunting coins is a great past time beit rolls, bags or bucket loads. I have found coins up to 5000 times there face value so far and plenty in between. Its like checking free lotto tickets and the more you know of what to look for the more thrilling the hunt becomes. BUT, its kind of like fishing it takes patience.

I used to coin-roll hunt in reverse when I was a kid. I'd take my paper route money that I collected on Saturday morning and my mother would go to the courthouse and get a $50 bag of nickels from the parking meters. I'd go through the bag, weed out the Buffalo nickels I still needed for my Whitman, then roll up the rest of them and take them to the bank. The daily was 35 cents and the Sunday 20 cents, so I got $.55 cents from most everyone. God knows how many rolls that I made and took to the bank, but everything above a nickle was silver so I saw lots of neat stuff go through my fingers .. this was the mid 50's
