Found on tide line with my metal detector, it has what looks like mary holding jesus, on other side looks like angel, was this a coin before damaged maybe?

before anyone can help you, you should post larger pictures of the item ... This is just too small to tell anything except that the object is oval and silvery color.
(On off topic, this is still much closer to finding a coin by metal detecting than any of my efforts. The closest thing was 60 years old empty can of meat. :) Or, well, a WW1 bullet.)

If what you say is on it it is more likely some type of religious medal rather than a coin. As been said can't tell anything from the photo's
