The Chad coins, the second Hippo, also got toning but again, that was from the dealer I bought from and I returned the coin. Have you looked at that Africa series from Congo and Gabon that is done in an antiqued finish? I have many of those and am happy to report zero toning or milk spots. I really love that Chad series, I feel like getting the 2016 release but from a dealer that is not selling toned coins on the rim LOL Report this Post to the Staff

I am very familiar with the antique Africa series and yes, they are AWESOME coins! I do not own any but do admire them. I am hoping that Benin and Chad are just taking 2017 off and will be back with something new for this series next year. I am hoping you can find a new dealer with more pristine coins for sure! I did see some dealer in Hungry on ebay was selling one but I am reluctant to buy from them since I have never done business with them. I keep looking tho, sometimes these coins still make their way to the market even after a few years time. Did you see those new toned rhino and elephant coins that APMEX is carrying LOL... just when you think there is nothing out there,,, lol Report this Post to the Staff
