I haven't collected/graded too many older, circulated quarters and I was wanting to see how my opinion stacked up with you all.

There appears to be a scratch on the bottom of the reverse over the legend. I know it's not jaw-droppingly beautiful, but I like it anyways.

I'll lead off with VF-35, possibly EF-40.

I'd say VF35 also. I don't think it could be XF (AKA EF)

It's a hairline, but overall it just doesn't look EF, I agree.
