I am not optimistic that these albums are or will be continued to be developed or made. Intercept Preservation Products LLC (IPP) changed its name to eprotec Preservation Inc, (EPI) and was involved in litigation with the licensee from Alcatel/Lucent of the Intercept technology, Engineered Materials, Inc. (EMI)
Some litigation reading at: http://law.justia.com/cases/federal...7/247328/20/
EMI seems to have different fish to fry than coin albums. It licensed the application of the Intercept technology for consumer applications to IPP/EPI, and that relationship apparently disintegrated (coulda used some Intercept protection I guess).
i did not find the arbitration record, but the dearth of recent information about Intercept Shield, eprotect Preservation, Inc., or consumer applicaiton of the Intercept Technology leads me to believe that there will be no more Intercept Shield albums. If ya want 'em, better grab 'em now.
Apparently, eprotec Preservation Inc. (EPI) still is listed as a business in New Jersey.

Coins doesn't really seem to be on the radar for these folks.
The name, Christine Tropiano, on the notice that jbuck linked is indicated as the "owner" of IPP, which now no longer exists (changed to EPI). Frank Tropiano is indicated in some places as the owner of EPI. Note that the court opinion I linked indicates how very much intertwined are the ownership interests and relationships involved.
The Intercept Archival trademark is abandoned.
The Intercept Technology trademark is owned by EMI.
Christine/Frank, can you fill us in with updated info?
