Weight is extremely light, around 1.67 grams. Does not feel like brass, but is not magnetic. Thinking it may be a fractional cash cast in lead, circa Song dynasty; or perhaps from another nation copying the Chinese style.

Ideas?

I think it is of Vietnamese origin.

Good call InconsistentBlend!

Looks like this coin was issued in both bronze and zinc--that would account for the silver color and extremely light weight.
