Aernout,
Is the catalogue only in Flemish, or is it available in French or English, as well ?

@ Pertinax,

This edition is only in flemish (Dutch).

For next edition I shall try to translate in French an hopfully also in English.

But that takes time...

I do this as a hobby and not as profession.

Aernout,
I understand about doing this as a hobby and not as a profession.

It's a great achievement to have published a catalogue.

As a Scot, my native languages are Scots and English and I can understand French but long ago I gave up trying to understand Flemish or Dutch - for some reason, it didn't click with my brain !

Aernout,

One of the problems that I notice about the KM catalogues is that the prices do not seem to be updated often, and, for example, for modern French coins, they often bear little relation to what dealers charge. I wonder whether it is because they're basing prices on what US dealers charge and I wonder how they determine prices.

What method do you use to determine the prices in the catalogue ?

@ Pertinax,

The expensive coins are based on auction, the more comment coins are based on field experience on Belgian coin fairs .

@ jbuck,

Thanks ;-)

Aernout,
I just tried looking at the cbnu forum.

There are lots of interesting posts about modern posts but I don't see any images.

Why ?

hey Pertinax,

You have to be a member to see the images. It's a safety measure (something from the past).

Also if a member post 20 useful messages, he will get acces to an overview of the forum. This should be seen as an extension of the catalog.

Website is in dutch, French and English.

Hope to see you soon ;)

mvg,
Aernout

There is an example of the CBNU2017 donated to the American Numismatic Association ( ANA) library in Colorado Springs.

I hope you enjoy reading it ;)
