Hey all,

Picked up a 1925 penny looking at getting it graded and maybe slabbed. Wondering if it's worth it?

Stevo's valuation of $100 to $120 is correct.
The other reference quoting valuations is way overpriced.

along with the 1930 coin the 1925 Penny is widely counterfeited , So getting your 1925 graded and slabbed regardless of if it is high grade or not is worthwhile just for the certification that it is the genuine article.

Hey Trout,

Appreciate it, I have also come across a 1923 half penny, would it also be worth getting this slabbed and how can I go about getting it done?
Sorry, new to the grading scene.

Most of the larger dealers will send your coins away to be graded and they are NOT that expensive either
