Rich , I believe you have a nice MS buffalo with a weak obverse strike. reverse has full horn and split tail ,nice. I'm assuming the absent of the obverse rim is because of the weak strike.

Initial thought -- AU-58 but weak strike could easily account for that. Not really any break in luster through pics shown, but I would say a 66 is generous.
