So today I was CRHing a box of pennies, and all of a sudden BOOM! A 1920-s (in average condition) popped up. It broke my record for the oldest coin I've found it circulation. My previous best was a 1924-D!

It's funny thinking I accomplished a lot (getting a 1920-s) and then there are people that are like "oh that's nothing I just found a 1898 Indian Head" I've only been collecting for 4ish months so I can't complain.

I do say I have been getting treated very well on this site and I really appreciate it (jbuck, shadz, COTW, Just Carl, TBOP) Thanks everyone!

Yeah man! It'll be awesome! I see that your oldest cent is a 1880. That is very impressive!

When I read the topic title I thought you had broken an actual vinyl record.

Very nice find. It's not easy finding an IHC CRHing, for me anyways. I have found about 5 and as you may know I have been through a few cent rolls . Good luck with your hunt.

A 1920 s is a nice find. I consider anything before 1940 nice finds.

Happy Hunting.

BTW was the 1899 comment a reference to my post?

1920's coins with mint marks are a real treat. I enjoy those finds over the Indian Head cents I've found. Don't get me wrong. They're special enough but early LWCs with MMs are fun finds. Congrats!
