Can someone provide me with a list of edge inscriptions which appear on the ecu and five-franc piece from Louis XIV to Napoleon III? I recently purchased a beautiful 1814 "piece de 5 francs" of Louis XVIII. The edge inscription appears to be DOMINE SALVUM FAC REGEM (Lord, keep the king safe ). I collect foreign coins which were legal tender in the US until 1857. Thank you.
