I found this one during a CRH event. It looks like it could be a tilted RPM, but CONECA doesn't list one. Hopefully I captured it well enough. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Unsure on this but it kind of looks like the 1948-D rpm-003 maybe different die state?

Hi guys - thanks for looking. I think the 003 is the triple south. I see one split serif on the lower side of the D, but not two. The toning is making photography a bit of a challenge. I will try another shot to see if I can localize the serif better.

Thanks again!

OK, I was able to illuminate this better. I can see a bar on the inside of the loop and the serif is more distinct. See last pic; any better?

I don't see it listed anywhere. The nickel book has a 003 that looks similar.

nice looks good to me unlisted..Not a expert...

The rpm book was last updated in 2001-2002 ...even then it was considered unfinished.

I wonder if we keep a running thread for unlisted rpms how many would pop up...

Hi guys - thanks for reminding me; I had Dr. Wiles book, but I forgot to have a look. I'm thinking it might be unlisted. The three listed look different. 001 is out, 002 looks close, but the loop is different, and 003 seems to be a partial D east.

It's a pretty frequent event that someone here posts an RPM that isn't listed. Especially in the 60s and cents. These older dates though seem less likely to show as unlisted, but it does happen. I wish my specimen was a bit less toned. The Verdi in the area makes viewing more of a challenge. So with the 1938 I posted, I'm stumped on two fronts for the evening. Thanks for staying up with me a bit.
