I am trying to assess worth to my (deceased) grandfather-in-law's collection, and I have these two British coins that are too old for the guide that I was able to borrow from the library;
Can someone tell me if either of these are at all rare, or have any intrinsic value?

Don't get me wrong, I think they're both cool - I actually like these old penny & halfpenny coins.

Penny - very worn, date is barely legible - the final two numbers are rather clear "61";
1861 Penny:

Halfpenny - I'd guess good to AG condition, it's a very nice looking coin.

1900 halfpenny

Thanks in advance!

This website should help:

Unfortunately, Victoria was at the mast of a very strong economy that produced quite a few coins. In that condition, they are not worth more than "junk bin" prices--maybe 25-50 cents each.
