This is a 1832 H10C that I just won; when I get it, it will amount to my first ever capped bust series type coin.

1832-Bust-Half-Dime

I know the seller has blurry pictures but just from the folds alone and what I can see of the lower hair, I can pin it to a mid VF. What do you guys think? Rim damage?

I bought this along with
321912086765
from the same seller and I hope he/she can combine shipping.

How do you think I did?

The listing says it is for 5c, so its a Half Dime. From the fuzzy pic, VF seems correct to me, but a Details coin for sure. Obvious damage, will be interesting to see what the nature of the dark spots are. Hope the reverse is OK, the listing doesn't show anything. A problem free VF retails around $115. At under $20, you probably did alright if you need to sell it at some point as long as the unknown reverse is in OK shape.

Where is the reverse? Isn't that a listing violation? For $20 you likely did fine unless the reverse is a total disaster.

Great buy on the 1986 proof dollar... You didn't pay much more than melt even with the shipping added.

seller does not offer returns

When I sell I do not offer returns but I offer 10 pictures with the best closeup you could want. I only don't offer returns because I cannot stand buyers remorse and do not want to have my time wasted.

In this case there is the little bitty picture, no reverse and no returns could equal trouble but stranger things have happened on the bay.

good luck.

I guess the price is okay, I just don't like problem coins. Good luck on this.

When you get it, if you post better pictures of the obverse and reverse it might be possible to do a variety attribution http://www.everythinghalfdimes.com/...lf-dime.html

Thanks for the tip, MeadowviewCollector~!

I will do that. I just hope that my coin arrives VF30 and with relatively few problems (I hope the only damage is the rim bump at 9:00)
