VF/gVF obv./rev.(British grading system)
Pleasing coin!

I have a hundred or so U.S. coins, but the vast majority of my collection comprises World coins, back to ancient times.
That's why I have graded it according to the British system.

I'd say VF30 sounds about right - soft strike, but a nice coin.

About the worst lowest relief bust of the German states series. Tough to grade. I give it a au 50.

Are you sure the stripe is on the plastic? A lot of these silver Kaiserreich coins, particularly 3 marks, have this characteristic stripe. I've always assumed it's from tape or paper at the end of the bank rolls.
