I need to stop spending so much money and get to spending. Most of this will get flipped as probably the 1927 cent will be one of the only things I keep, or the proof wheat cents

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-ATTRACT...p=true&rt=nc

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOUR-BEAUTI...p=true&rt=nc

I would have paid $9.23 for the two proof wheat cents, and the 1927 cent alone (as long as the 1927 cent hasn't been cleaned, but with the crappy pics it looks original)... lol

Not to mention the stunning 1943 D Steel cent, in which, I do agree on the grade. Might even be a 66.

Nice price and buys! Do you ever consider saving up the money and buying some NICE coins rather than a lot of cheap ones though?

No, not yet SSK. Simply because I like getting coins for cheap & reselling for more so that in the long run, I'll have 'extra' money when I'm older to get some coins that could be considered a lot more than "NICE", lol. Coins that go for 5-6 figures, more so.

Anyways, I consider these "NICE" coins, haha. That steel cent is in amazing condition.

Back several years ago when I was younger, I used to do a lot of buying and selling with virtual items. That's what got me into doing it with coins, too. Applying my investing strategies to real life.

I would take the smalls, and flip them for a small profit. I ended up being one of the richest players on the site, owning some of the best virtual items in the whole game. Now that game has over 90 million users. I ended up selling my virtual items to old friends who played the game still and ended up making over $1,000+

I don't want people to get the wrong impression here, though. I'm a collector primarily, but I have coins I have duplicates of and/or foreign coins that I don't need around here so I've decided I'll sell them & profit.

Sounds like a good strategy CoinHuntingDrew. If you don't mind me asking, where do you resell the coins? It seems like the ebay fees would eat up most of the profit. Thanks for any advice.

ebay fees aren't terrible for selling items unless they are smalls. I sold on and off this summer (and need to restock my inventory as it's become dry) and didn't get charged too too much in fees.
