Here's a variety from the George V series that doesn't seem to be all that plentiful. I've found three all in different die states so they're out there.
This one is an earlier die state

Anyone else or is it just me that look for these?

I see a blob over the last 9 which I don't have, but I do have 1 with a nice die crack at leaf 7 so could this be another die ?

I pick up 1919's quite a bit over the year and look at multiple 100's if not 1000's of them. I'm looking for a truly rare variety that I've only found 1 of in the 30 years of searching and I found it by accident and is still the only one that I've heard of or seen. Sorry, I won't tell you what it is, nor should anyone remind anyone else about it.

Fourmack it is the blob that has caught collector's interest since at least Zoell's time in the sixties.
He first mentioned this variety in his 1962 2nd edition as B40b then in his 3rd edition in 1965 he refers to it as B41p.
They are quite elusive but do pop up now and again.

I have GR-481 written on the 2X2 also so I guess that's the Griffon number.?

Cheers, Bill
