OcalaFlorida Pillar of the Community United States 2824 Posts	Posted 11/15/2015 9:52 pm Looks like a Cohen # 52-C8 Two Die cracks connecting the 5 and 2, Is there is also a die crack in the skull and die break on the reverse in the left wheat line and on the T in cent? Jean Cohen's book: "The Classification and Value of Errors on the Lincoln Cent" published in 1969 with 6,011 illustrations. JC Stevens Pillar of the Community United States 538 Posts	Posted 11/16/2015 11:26 am It can't be Cohen # 52-C8 as the OP's coin is a 52S. I'm thinking it's one of the 5 die stages #52S-C12 to C-17. Which one depend on the markers. NOTE: THE reverse die was changed on the 52S-17 "no longer a Die Crack on the Left Wheat". It's neat when you can go back almost 50 years and see a hand drawn illustration of a coin you have under your scope. Neat Find.
