Poll Question
Modern Coin Mart now has these reverse proof silver maple leafs with howling wolf privy in PF 69 and Pf 70. I am hoping that these proof coins will not develop milk spots.

Too early in the morning-I did not mean to have a poll, just new topic.

If it would be a poll, I would select the option: "They aren't proof (and this is the truth, but just reverse proof, which is different), and the milk spots may or may not appear on them, we can only hope and take a chance". Sure PF70 nice grade and nice slab, but nothing else. I like the coin and got one only, if the milk spots will be very ugly on it - it will go to my tube of "spotted" bulion.

Anyone have the reverse proof maples that have developed milk spots. I've got 3 coming. Id like more if the risk was lower. I like revere proof the best, however spots put me of when premiums are high!

Buy this coin, I know I want too... for the right price.. but PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE resist the urge to buy,, OR.. if you must be a slabbed one, get one with the milk spots already, which will save you money... because these WILL get milk spots

Milk spots and Maple Leafs go hand in hand. It is baked into the minting of these things.

It seems its the luck of the draw with maple no matter how they are housed. There seems to be no full proof storage method. Its sad graded ones spot. Worse yet some mints have no issues.

I have yet to see any coins from the 2004 Zodiac privy maple series without milk spots. Anything graded over SP66 seems to have been graded right after issue, because NGC and PCGS HATE milk spots and punish the grades hard.
