I was looking for coin shows within travelling distance for this weekend and came across a Niagara Fall Coin Club show on Saturday.
Anyone know of this show, is it worth a two hour drive?

Cheers, Bill

In the past, it was always a great coin show.

Lately, it's been so-so and for me (also a 2 hour drive) I have not attended in 2 or 3 years.

If you enjoy highway driving, I'd say 'go', if not, then definitely stay home.

I will be going but it will be my first time at this show. I do not know what to expect. I hope some other members of this board show up.

I'm not sure how many will be there either. I can't find anything about it.

Hounddog, the Niagara Falls show is listed on the Canadian Numismatic Calendar for Saturday. When I last attended it (a few years ago), I seem to recall about 20-25 vendors. I won't be going though.

I was there. There about 20 vendors or perhaps a few more. I thought it was a good show. I collect ancients and there were 3 different vendors who had ancient coins. I found this very unusual given the size of the show. I have been to shows with 40 vendors where only 2 had any ancients. I managed to pick up 2 nice coins for my collection so it was a good day.

Thanks orfew, I'm glad you were able to pick some coins up.
I'll plan a weekend around one of their shows in the future. Always looking to get in the good books with the wife you know and it is Niagara Falls.

Cheers, Bill
