Getting ready for the upcoming Days Of... and decided to take pictures of a few raw coins from my books that I have never put on CCF. This was the first ever "key date" coin I bought for any series, way back in 1997. It's still in the original 2x2 from the coin shop. I paid $7 for it. The rim at the bottom reverse is funky. I do not know why. Member ANA - EAC - TNA - SSDC - CCT #890 "Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done." -- Louis D. Brandeis

Very nice. At least MS-65 , maybe full steps. I don't know if that vertical image running through all steps is a hit or just a mark that can come off. all in all nice 50-D .

I seem to see several fine field scratches on the reverse. Assuming those are on the coin, I'd say 64FS.

Just in case anyone wanted to know what NGC said: Not too shabby for a $7 coin!
