Hi,

Please check out this half and tell me if you agree with my determination that its variety is O-111.

Also state the rarity (R) number.

Finally, would it be worthwhile sending this one out to PCGS for a slab-grade/attribution?

Regarding submission, what financials do you think make it worth the $ for submission? (I ask because different people have different $ requirements) NGC lists an 1811 50c in VF at $205.00, but I'm not sure how much this variety affects the value.

So, I guess I got the O-111 right the 1st time.

In terms of $ value I'd like to first know the web site you used to obtain the NGC pricing and if the referred-to $ 205 has the incorporated components in it similar to Heritage Auctions such as the cost of the slab and a 17.5% buyer's fee.

Or is the $ 205 only the retail value of the raw coin and nothing else?

Even though I'd still like to know the answers to my above questions, the value of a raw coin-only has to be at least $ 150 before I even begin to consider slabbing.
