Well, I have been going through alot of penny rolls every weekend. The weekend before last, I got 1000 Penny's, and found 1 1964 Canadian, and around 8(just a estimate) wheats, dating 1940-58. My first time I ever went penny roll hunting, I went through 8 rolls and found nothing. Second time... I only had 4 rolls... But I found a 1964 Canadian(so I have 2..), and I also found a very low condition 1917D! Finally, this last weekend, I got about 4 rolls, seeing them on the desk, I knew they were all brand new. Usually my bank isn't new coins, but rather your random assortment of penny's. But.. the interesting thing is at both ends of one of the rolls.. there is a circle scratch on the new penny's... Possibly a error? Note, by new.. I mean brand new 2015D's. Maybe the scratches is just from hitting something...? I should look more into the roll.. I'm not opening a couple of them so I have coins I presume is untouched by human fingers(besides the ends.), but I may bust this open to see if it is just the ends of this, or the rest of them.

I want to hear your finds! There is no thread for posting Wheat rolls.. without any major bump ups :P

EDIT: I think it was just a issue when packaging/handling.. because none of the other coins in the roll is scratched :P

those lines will not be on the inside coins. the lines are from the machine that rolls them scratching the coin.
