Hello,

Wasn't sure if I should add on to an earlier post (Nov 27th) I have for this same coin situation - The outcome of that post was that it was probably a master die situation.

So I thought a new post with new more specific pictures would be best, plus it is a different coin.

I have yet a 2nd coin basically the same as the first with the "S" MM. I have taken pictures to match the one on the coppercoins website for comparison.

Please take a look.

Just another note - I was thinking it could also be the the 1946 S over D mm error.

See 1946-S 1¢ WOMM-001 at this link

Thank you

Since these 2 coins are so similiar, does anyone think that it might be good idea to send them into Wexler's for look?

Thanks for your input.

I don't think it is anything .... looks normal to me. The 9 always looks like that that year probably master doubling. The S well I see alot of S ' s with a little extra metal in them I believe from being punched extra had when they applied the mint mark to die
