Hey there folks, recently my collecting interests have been expanding a little more from just greek and roman coins, into some ancient artifacts as well. I buy almost all of my coins from Vcoins because I like the security and code of ethics that they follow.

Do you guys know any place that functions similar to Vcoins but specializes in artifacts? I still want to be able to buy with confidence and security like I did from Vcoins, but in regards to artifacts.

I've seen a number of dealers on Vcoins that also sell artifacts, other than them I don't know of any other dealers. You may want to check Southbys and Christies auction sites though.

Hi Arael

Not a recommendation as I have never purchased anything from this dealer but I have been on their website many times. They have a very nice selection.

This dealer is on Vcoins but offers mostly coins on there Vcoins store.

I noticed you are in California as is the physical location of this dealer

Also accredited since 2011 with A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau: http://www.bbb.org/losangelessilico...ca-100104718

Yeah, I like V-coins too... I feel safe that whatever happens there I will get a resolution if there is a problem.

I have looked at a few artefacts on there but didn't see anything that really excited me, I don't really know what I want except I like small pieces. Unlike on the Antiques Roadshow the other day they had a 2000 year old oil lamp which I thought was rather nifty.

If you buy anything I hope you post it for us, it is always interesting to see what other people like.

I'd recommend searching through the antiquities section of the shop at Forumancientcoins.com. They are entirely trustworthy, and their main site has more items listed than their Vcoins store.

For those who are new here or who may have missed it, we had an interesting multi-page thread running early this year in which CCF members posted antiquities: https://goccf.com/t/198163&SearchTerms=Artifacts

Harlan J. Berk is primarily a coin dealer but they also sell antiquities in the few hundred to few thousand dollar range.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, I've been looking through them quite a bit and so far am quite impressed. And David, if and when I get anything I will certainly give you an update! Thanks especially Biancasdad for the reccomendation, I may have to find a reason to make the drive down to LA to go see his store.
