Cashed in a Christmas gift certificate to Colonial Acres by getting couple of sets of hard to get coins since it was cheaper than to get the ones individually. 92,97,99. Yeah a small plug Colonial Acres rocks!
Is 98 Quarter only PL or can it be found in circulation?
What's up with the coloured Olympic coins at Petro Canada? I see they now are selling them two for one, grr.. why didn't they tell me that before I paid full price for this years ones.
My father gave me 1864 New Brunswick Penny does anyone have any info on this since most sites I seen don't seem to normally have it?

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but I wondered what PL meant.

1997 TO 2000 they were only available in mint sets. As far as the Petro Canada 25 cents, RCM NCLT has a history of losing half its issue price in value. The 1864 New Brunswick 1 cent coin had a mintage of 1,000,000. There are two varieties. Short 6 and tall 6. On the short 6 variety the top of the 6 is pretty well level the numbers on either side of it. The tall variety has the top of the 6 rising higher than the numbers on either side of it. In VF-20 the S6 has a value of 15 dollars while the T6 has a value of 18 dollars (CHARLTONS)

PL is Proof Like. These coins are produce with polished dies, struck on polished planchet and receive special handling.

Wow thanks for the info! I think I will be a little less quick to get this years Olympic Petro coins, if the trend continues Jan 2009 they should be worth even less :)

Non Circulating Legal Tender. For example a Siver Maple Leaf has a face value of 5 dollars, but are not meant for circulation. It is legal tender though if you wanted to spend it and take the loss on the difference on what it cost you to buy it.
