Very nice strike and color and overall cool-looking coin. There are a few surface problems and a couple of contact marks in the obverse design. I would have to say MS61 BN.

I agree with the MS-61 grade but I think the coin is RB ,, I Like the tooth interesting place for a die chip .only problem now is I will have to go thru my 1944 cents to see if I have one like it !!!

You may be right. The problem with scans is that all the luster is lost.

Richard, how is the coloring and luster on this coin?

I think Red Brown leaning more towards the red. the Mylar makes it difficult to get a good picture. Plus my monitor seems to give different colours than the camera does. on the Camera screen its full red. when my next batch of flips arrives I will probably transfer it to a flip and snap a new pick in the process.

You're definitely going to be a better judge of color than we are based on the picture. But I am comfortable with the MS61 grade.
