I used my last (again) 'golden' dollar to help pay for a pop at bowling Thursday.

Well, THIS challenge is now 8+ years and counting.

I would help more if I could, but it has been difficult for me to obtain dollar coins to use. I go to three different banks every few weeks but they rarely have any to 'sell' me. Two of the banks know about 'our' challenge and do save them for me, but still just don't get many from their suppliers (customers/businesses/etc).

Getting ANY coins at this time is difficult. I use plastic for almost all of my purchases. As a matter of fact, just about the only times I use paper/coinage to pay for anything is when I DO HAVE dollar coins to use. I really don't know how often other people use paper money and coins for purchases, but I'm guessing not many.

This "game" probably would be going twice as quickly 15-20 years ago, but life as a whole has changed quite dramatically since those days.
