Hi,
Eyeing this coin it looks pretty cool almost black background and cream colored devices.

I have a lot of worn coins but none are almost black, does anyone know what causes this?

Thank you

Extreme circulation, environment, dirt. See how all the tops of devices are worn? It's hard to see the strands of wheat, Lincolns hair has worn, etc.

Well then from my 5K + Wheaties this is definitely the Worst of them all, I have coins that I are barely readable because of wear but, I had never seen one like this. Just looking at it regular it looks pretty cool though. Especially the back with the deep contrast between black and beige.
