EDIT: Okay, sorry

Okay, so maybe not that good of a find... But anyways, I bought this coin dateless in a group of 15 type coins for $15 (this included a 2 cent piece, a type 1 SLQ, a dateless bust dime, a Three Cent Nickel, a Three Cent Silver, a 1838 holed large cent, etc.). I decided to acid date it, since it had an "O" mint mark. Boy was I surprised to see 1909 staring back at me! Anyways... What do you guys think its worth in this shape?

Yeah I was under the impression you couldn't acid date silver, or copper. Only nickel. Maybe we'll all learn.

I may be wrong, 90% silver & 10% copper. Buffaloes are 75% copper which is was the acid dating effects. Maybe it's the 10% in the silver that is able to allow for acid dating?

I don't think you'd get more than 10 dollars for it, probably closer to 5 like thealphaomega said.
