Out of my area of expertise, hoping the experts here can help. I did not think Machin Mills produced any coppers prior to 1787? is this an Atlee or something else?

Does not have the reverse, single line above date, to match the two known Machins of this date. Also the bust does not look like a Machins.....to me. Obviously countereit but no idea from where....

Depending on its size it could be an Great Britain Farthing or Half penny of 1775

Fourmack: The reverse is all wrong for the OP's coin to be a farthing.

Regarding Machin's Mills: There are only so many known dies thus making it very simple to compare examples to plates of these dies. The OP's coin does not match any MM dies. Look at the hair band on the obverse. 1775 MM is hard to miss if you look at "NIA."; not a match.
