Enlarged 1961-D Cent. Error Or?

I have this 1961-D cent. Looking for more information on it. Its larger then a normal cent and a tad smaller then a nickel. In fact it sits inside of a nickels rim perfectly. Someone said on another site it was put between two pieces of leather and beat with a hammer. Lincolns bust is enlarged as is everything else. The rim is intact and not malformed at all.

The hammer and leather theory is correct. These are called Texas-sized coins.

It's a Texas Cent. Proportional expansion of the design on both faces is not possible in a genuine mint error.
