Okay folks, here is the latest news from the Tax Free State.

Plans are currently underway for my firm to open 2 coin shops in 2006. This is a huge departure for us, and one that I had not wanted to do, but the timing and other factors made this decision a no-brainer.

The website:
It will feature many more "collector" coins in the coming year. There will also be a "coincommunity" section within the website that will offer coins and currency exclusively to the forum members here.

The camera stand:
It will begin production prior to years end. No "price" has been determined yet, but will be offered here first on the forum. For those of you that have not been made aware of our camera stand, please look at any photo posted here. These are self contained units that can be used at home as well as on the road. Our goal is to offer them at the $20 price level, but final production costs will determine the actual price.

CoinFest 2006:
Plans are still in the works for Indy, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Rehobeth Beach. Washington D.C. may also be added for a late fall date. For any member here that lives close to one of those cities, you can (if you have the desire) help me assist in the process. A little time would be very much appreciated.
The new artwork for the T-shirts is underway. Copper,Silver, and Gold. I will post the artwork as soon as it becomes available.

Shows:
The Palm Beach show may be limited as well as the Santa Clara show. If you live in one of those areas and would like to meet (or buy me dinner ) please drop me an email so that we can schedule a date and time. I will be doing some major "buying" over the next two months to get ready for the first shop opening, so if anyone would like a copy of the current "buy" offers, please let me know.

New company artwork:

(I spoke to Susan about posting this)

The following are just a few examples of the new company artwork. Please let me know what you think.

ND if you would just open a shop, near our interstate out front, we could call it MIDWEST Mid-Atlantic coins as I am NEEDING a job! Spent 28 years in two skilled jobs only to be called to the office and told my job had been eliminated. (3 days notice) So now I am in a really bad job, low money, working nights and getting more desperate every day! Let me know when the Indiana Grand Opening is!!!

While I love the Indy area, it is a bit cold out there for me. Not to mention that I am not a big fan of snow. Have you considered moving to the land of tax free shopping? I will be needing quite a few "GOOD" employees to man the shops. Long term I am looking at 5 stores in Delaware.
I could really use about 10 narcissistic people. I am setting some very lofty goals for 2006 and 2007.
Rest in Peace

Good luck with the new ventures.

I only wish they were closer to Colorado.

ND, if cold climate and snow are major negative considerations for the location of your new stores, then Arizona is the place for you! Especially western Arizona. Specifically, right off busy I-10's Exit 69. They only snow I've seen down here was way, way up on the tops of the far away mountains... lovely to look at from a long distance away. Which is why I'm down here instead of up there.

In any instance, I wish you luck with your new endeavors, but I suspect you make your own luck.

Fred
