Started getting some of my Canadian proof sets out from the packing boxes. Never have taken a good look at them for varieties. Were there many Proof/mint set errors in the sets from 1960-90.

The proof-like sets? Yes, there are few interesting varieties for years 64, 65, 73, 74, 77, 85. Those are just a few off the top of my head. I'm not positive that all had the regular circulation varieties, but here's a quick rundown:
'64 5c with extra water line
'65: a lot of possibilities with the 65 LB pointed 5 1c, Large beads 5c, 6 $1 varieties
'66: Small Beads $1
'73: Large Bust 25c
'74: $1 doubled yoke (a few different ones)
'77: 5c low 7
'85: 1c pointed 5
For pics of these coins, check out the catalog pages at jandm.com, or Charlton's catalogue or Charest's book. Good luck!
