I have the first 2 in the series. Today I found a Canadian seller at $55 cad, I'm wondering if this is a good price per coin. I don't hear much talk about this series anymore. What are peoples thoughts on it. Mintage 10k. I don't want to bep overpaying. I am looking for about 4 of them. I know they can be pricy on release. It just feels weird paying so much for a bullion coin, when silver is around $19 cad an oz. Feedback is welcome, I'm like Yup and elephant coins, only its horses for me. I haven't been following the bullion scene much this year.

If not the "Inglorious" , I would advise just to sell the 2013 and 2014 and forget about it.

But since you like them, just continue the series, it started and now goes on without any hype....in bullion world also there are many new issues, so the "old" stuff forgotten. Check with "The Coin Shoppe" - previous years he distributed these coins.

Bang on Silveroid, I saw it at the coin shop yesterday for 1st time, I know it comes out in May, so I looked around and just no discussion even on silver stackers. Yes you guessed my other forum ID. Inglorious is my cousins Queens Plate winning racehorse. You are wise, get 1 to keep collection current, as I like horse coins. I just wasn't sure if I should get more. I had hoped a few more replies. This just shows the state of collecting over all dismal!! I remember in 2012 the different forums were ablaze with discussions, now its a very slow pace. Its a wonder what high spot can do. I also like the birds of prey, but the milk spots put me off. I'm hearing the Aussies are having the same problem, with select series. Which is a shame! On the bright side much more money is staying in the bank.

Continue your collection with the horses....after all, it annually changing design, will be very nice set, when in future you will look at the 10+ coins...

I heard it about coins, comes in tubes without capsules.
like Kangaroo (bullion one, not carded or numis) , spider / croc.
Never seen them on Kookaburra / Koala.

Another advantage of your Horse series - you've started from the beginning, no need to get first rare issues, the series is still "young", no repeats.
For same reason I like the Koala and stick with it (without being crazy to get varieties with "Berlin" privy, F12 Privy or Chinese lettering)

I always follow the buy what you like and like what you buy....but I am a "collector". I say since you are so fond of horses keep up the series because you "like" them and not worry about what they may or may not be worth in the future. Even if it's just 1 of each release.
