Great Coin! Was it a found coin or a purchase?

I got this from an acquaintance who is also helped in finding the stages for this variety I think he discovered stage 2 and 4 of the 5 stages in this series but don't quote me. He is working on stage 6 which he believes this one is. When I received the coin I offered more money because I knew it would grade at least a 63 and he said that he was fine with the price but both of us never expected this grade.

The color is spot on from my computer with it being more red brown on the obverse and more original red on the reverse but it is a little dark around the edges I need to work on that. I hope to get a usb microscope next week to achieve better pictures then my macro on my camera now provides.
