I was looking at a couple of Royal Mint sets that I have and noticed this 2 pence with a die chip,or something, stuck too/into the coin. The anomaly is below/between the EG in D G REG F D 1984.It(the sliver of metal) has a silver color rather than the copper color of the coin. I am unfamiliar with RM errors,or world coins for that matter, and what I would like to know is this anything special? Is it a keeper..so to speak?
Shouldn't happen with proof coins. In theory, every proof coin has to be inspected after it is ejected from the press. It seems as if the inspection regime has been a little lax.
