This halfpenny has the nicest surfaces of any William III planchet I have ever come across to date. Most are terrible. Normal 0 in the date and inverted V's for A's in BRITANNIA.

After studying this coin a bit, I'm pretty sure this hardly circulated. There are only a couple trivial marks in the fields and the surfaces are still very gloss. I think this coin was simply weakly struck, and not really affected by wear except slightly.
