I know this carries no premium, but I have never seen this before. Some of the copper has folded over. In the first image, the black area is actually where the copper is peeling. I show a side view of this area in the second image where it can be seen.

Interesting, I have an 1982 d one cent, and it has no Cooper on it, it's completely zinc.

It looks like a rim burr folded over during striking.
