Why not import all of the user names and passwords from coincommunity? That way we don't have to make a whole separate account. It might also help build traffic since for us it will be just a click away.

BTW, who here collects stamps? I've kind of grown fascinated with them, but I've never collected.

I also agree with importing names/pw's...one reason I rarely log in is because I forget I have a name/pw for the stamp forum.

Well, there's several reasons.

1. I'm sure 85% or better of the members here don't care about stamps so why weigh down the database with all their info?

2. Personally I think it's a tad unethical to sign people up for something they didn't ask for or agree to.

3. What if someone sends them an email through the forum and they didn't sign up? That email is automatically spam, since they never registered for the forum.

4. No one that I transfered will have agreed to the terms, conditions, and legal disclaimers for Stamp Community.

I have a secret to tell you. I NEVER ACTUALLY READ THOSE THINGS! I just click away.

In all seriousness I guess all those reasons make sense.
