Hi. Someone gave me the beginning part of one of those subscription things. I'm guessing the coins were overpriced but don't know for sure. The grades listed are seemingly useless as they are: good, very good, fine, extra fine, about uncirculated, and uncirculated. They are guaranteed to be "never circulated" but that doesn't mean they're in pristine shape. How does one figure out the grade of something after it has been sealed in a case as the cases have flaws? I'll post pics of the five I have, which are the first five issued.

Below is Adams 2007 (2nd issue of the series)

The cases can be opened. A tiny slot head screwdriver (like for eye glasses) or a razor blade utility knife can be slipped into the seam between the case halves (on the sides) and then you can pry it apart. Hold coins by their edges when examining them. Your coin might well be uncirculated but doesn't look like a high quality piece. Your guess that subscription coins are overpriced is usually proven to be correct.
