I'm not entirely sure what this coin is. Appears to have Maximilian in the legend. Date is 1566 (actually 1566/5). Has nice toning and overall eye appeal. Finding none on ebay, I'm still assuming it is fairly common and not all that valuable. Any information would be appreciated!

Weight is 1.2 grams.

Anything dated from the 1500s is not common like US stuff, especially in a nice condition circulated condition like this. The collector base of circulated coins from this era isn't huge, so prices don't get driven up as high. If it was dated as 1582, I'd take it in a heartbeat. pretty coin!

Probably worth in the $25 range in this condition. Nothing in this series appears out of the ordinary price-wise. Still, a nice old pocket coin.
