Quote: So..... are you gonna give her a name? She deserves it! Wow. What a concept. I am almost tempted to consider it. Hmmm ...

I think I'll name her Francesca after designer Anthony de Francisci.

This is going with me to the coin show in Knoxville in February. Care to take bets on whether it comes with me back home?

You like "vest pocket" dealing at shows Giorgio? Do you trade or sell? I could never do it as I hate selling to dealers and would never deal with participants out of respect.

I have been a dealer for 50+ years (hence the website link) but seldom set up at shows as I have another job in addition. Best Regards, George

I should have added, though, that like a lot of good dealers, I am a collector at heart. I would never buy a coin that I would not add to my own collection.

This sold at the Knoxville show just as I thought it would, man I hated to let that coin go but got a good price for it, first, no, second dealer came up to the table said he had a customer for toned Peace dollars and snapped it up. I'm gonna miss that coin ... Best Regards, George

Cascade, I think yours might be conservable by PCGS or NGC; did you consider that option?

No I haven't. Never have sent anything in for conservation. The toning isn't the best but I don't think it has negative eye appeal. Is that what you're talking about? You think they can make it blast white?

They might be able to remove the toning, if that's your preference. I'd leave it as is, but it is an option.
