Hi CCF. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could purchase boxes of unused new coins in boxes each year of both P and D mints. I'm looking for just 1 cents, 5 cents and 10 cents from both mints full boxes?

I've looked but can only find bits and pieces. I'm really looking for a consistent source so I don't have to hunt all the time.

Call your bank, and ask them to order new cents from the FED.

Childofthewheat, I tried that and my bank hasn't a clue. They're just a branch and they get there stuff from the main branch in Boston. I could try there but the banks in this area where I live are numismaticaly (spelling?) VERY challenged. And I'm being kind. Thanks for trying.

T-BOP I did email Scott there and let him know my needs. Hopefully something will work out. This seems the most promising lead yet. Much appreciated.

Lilly , your very welcome. as a solid date and mint roll collector , this is who I get them from. the banks by me are useless. Next month I'll order the 2016's Lincoln Cent rolls P&D.

Members on here find solid boxes from time to time. Hang around and get enough posts to buy, and I am sure that several will be willing to sell them to you for face + shipping and maybe a little extra. I personally haven't seen a solid box of anything since 2009.
Also you do realize that dime boxes are $250 each, right? That is an enormous amount of money to tie up every year.

Hey T-BOP. Scott was really nice. I ended up ordering some older rolls to fill out my collection (over 100!). I decided to tone down on the newer ones to maybe 5-10 rolls a piece (p & D, cents, nickels, dimes) each year when they come in. Thanks a bunch for the tip.I let Scott know that I would say good things about him here.
