Hi,
This is something kind of new for me. I have what I think is a beautiful Cent - I would like your opinions on it's grade, value and any details you can offer up.

Also, taking a look at the reverse the Memorial is kind of wavy (look along the bottom of the building) and when looking at it normal you can see the wavy stuff too on both sides. Is this part of the ghosting a small clash - looks really really cool. I also, think it is a bit off centered on the obverse.

Any and opinions welcomed. - I took a lot of pictures but still not sure if I am doing it justice. I can also provide some closer detailed pictures, just let me know what you all would like to see.

Thank you all for your help.

I am not seeing any signs of ghosting or a clash. Looks like a LDS maybe a VLDS. Value is one cent or copper value, IMHO.

Definitely better with the gray background, thanks for the tip.

But, on behalf of the coin. There is absolutely no gunk, dirt or debris around any of the devices, very few scratches in the field. If these don't count for anything then why is there a grading system for coins? Plus, it is 47 years old. The money I get today dated 2015 looks like it is 100 years old.

That's because they started making cents out of copper plated zinc in 1982.

CoinCents, when you say you think a coin is beautiful, there is your value. One thing I've learned after just two years of looking at coins is, the value of a coin is in the eye of the beholder. I absolutely love the pre-zinc cents when they are in good condition. I put them in a 2x2 and will leave them for my grandsons and hope they gain an appreciation for them.

Yes, I agree. So many of of the coins I look at have so much dirt/debris etc around the devices that you can't even tell if you have a special something, like an RPM etc.
